Care to take into account after treatment.
Gently Cleanses: Your skin may be fragile for 5-7 days. Clean your skin with COLD water (hot water will cause skin inflammation) using only your fingertips, no wipes, sponges, sponges, etc. We recommend using the gentle cleanser, with no alcohol or added oils. Your esthetician may recommend other gentle cleansers such as Dove Unscented Bar Soap for Sensitive SkinⓇ, AveenoⓇ, CetaphilⓇ, CeraVeⓇ, or VanicreamⓇ.
Protect your skin: Exposure to heat and sun can cause inflammation of the skin. Remember to avoid excessive heat on the treated area and direct sun exposure of any kind, as well as tanning beds and sand self-tanners on the intended treatment areas for 1-3 weeks post treatment. If you need to be outdoors, be sure to bring an umbrella and use a physical sunscreen (containing zinc oxide and titanium dioxide). We recommend using SkinCeuticals Sheer Physical UV Defense SPF 50Ⓡ or Colorescience SunforgettableⓇ. Both products provide broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection without chemical sunscreens. Apply 30 minutes before exposure and reapply frequently (approximately every 2 hours) when exposed to the sun. Other sun protection products may be recommended based on your specific needs.
